Beyond.pl Data Center 2 Carbon Footprint Calculator Find out how much you will reduce the carbon footprint of your company's IT infrastructure with Beyond.pl Data Center 2 CO2e carbon footprint calculator of IT infrastructure maintained in a data center Methodology Information The calculator provides estimated greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions associated with electricity consumption during the operation of IT infrastructure in a data center. It does not include emissions related to the manufacturing, transportation, maintenance, or end-of-life disposal of equipment, nor any other Scope 3 emissions. The calculations are performed using the market-based method described in the GHG Protocol Scope 2 Guidance. Electricity cost data and emission factors are sourced from publicly available sources and updated as new data becomes available. The results are estimates and are intended for scenario comparison purposes. Source: www.globalpetrolprices.com Beyond.pl €/kWh Alternative data center €/kWh Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) i PUE is a ratio that determines the ratio of the electricity consumed to power a data center to the energy consumed by the IT equipment in the data center. The lower the PUE value, the less energy is needed to keep the data center’s IT infrastructure running. This means that data centers with lower PUE are more energy efficient and environmentally friendly, using less electricity to ensure their operation.
