Renewable energy

Data centers powered 100% by renewable energy certified by guarantees of origin.

Renewable energy

Our mission is not only to provide reliable IT services. We are committed to protecting the planet’s future through sustainable operations and responsible resource management.

Energy management is crucial to the environmentally friendly operation of any data center. Beyond.pl facilities are the first in Poland and the region to be powered 100% by renewable energy, certified by guarantees of origin. The use of renewable electricity contributes to reducing emissions associated with purchased electricity and supports the achievement of our environmental objectives.

100% green energy Beyond Data center

Our goal

Our strategic goal is to minimize direct emissions (Scope 1 and 2) and indirect emissions across the entire supply chain (Scope 3) by 2030.

Our actions

Climate transformation requires collaboration and shared standards across the data center industry. That’s why we engage in initiatives to achieve climate neutrality in our sector.

We are a signatory and co-founder of the Climate Neutral Data Center Pact (CNDCP). This voluntary industry initiative brings together data center operators and cloud providers from across Europe. By joining the pact, we have committed to achieving clearly defined sustainability goals, including:

  1. powering data centers with 100% renewable energy,
  2. increasing energy efficiency (including achieving a low Power Usage Effectiveness – PUE),
  3. efficient water usage and IT equipment recycling,
  4. transparent reporting of progress.

The Climate Neutral Data Center Pact is supported by the European Commission and forms the foundation for the IT sector’s self-regulation in the context of achieving EU climate goals.

In addition to using 100% renewable energy, we undertake actions to optimize energy consumption and implement solutions that maximize the potential of renewable energy sources. In specific scenarios, using Beyond.pl services may reduce operational emissions related to IT infrastructure. The result depends on the configuration, workload, comparison scenario, time period, and methodology applied.
