We supported the 5th edition of the Carpathian Startup Fest and the startup competition

The 5th edition of Carpathian Startup Fest 2025 is behind us. This year, the event dedicated to entrepreneurship and technology gathered over 1000 participants, including startups, investors, and leaders in new technologies. One of the key points of the agenda, alongside inspiring talks and presentations, was the startup competition, where participants showcased their solutions in an attempt to attract investors’ attention and win prizes.

This year, we had the pleasure of actively supporting the project. On May 22nd, Wojciech Stramski, Beyond.pl CEO, appeared on the event stage and participated in the panel discussion “Is business ready for the quantum era? Are we facing a quantum apocalypse?” alongside Marek Magrys from ACK CYFRONET AGH and Kuba Dobroszek from My Company Polska. During the discussion, Wojciech Stramski shared our perspective on launching an AI Factory at our data center campus in Poznan, Poland, offering an ecosystem of services supporting AI project development, including AIaaS, GPUaaS, GPU colocation, and managed services.

Carpathian Startup Fest also features a competition for startups that want to present their solutions and attract investors’ attention. One of the competition winners received a special prize funded by Beyond.pl – a voucher for GPUaaS service based on one of the most advanced NVIDIA B200 GPUs.

The startups competing for our prize included LegacyApp, WaterSense, autoMEE, Medmetrix, iYoni App, Genotic, Modino.io, meterd, Bodyscope, and RIFFSEC. The scope of the finalists’ activities was very broad – from medicine, genetics, and healthcare, through application and IT infrastructure management, to the automotive industry.

The quality of the pitches presented by the competition participants made it difficult for the jury members to choose the best projects. The jury awarded:

• 1st place and 50,000 PLN to Genotic,
• 2nd place and 35,000 PLN to RIFFSEC,
• 3rd place and 20,000 PLN to iYoni App.

Wojciech Stramski awarded Genotic our special prize, a voucher for GPU as a Service! The startup uses artificial intelligence for rapid design and production of custom antibodies. Its fully computational, animal-free approach ensures high quality and delivers solutions in weeks rather than years.
