A gala commemorating the 20th anniversary of Beyond.pl and the establishment of the first commercial, sovereign AI Factory in CEE

On Thursday, October 16th, the “The Future is Now” gala celebrated the 20th anniversary of Beyond.pl, honoring the launch of the F.I.N. supercomputer and the first commercial, sovereign AI Factory in our region. The event, held at the Ufficio Primo in Warsaw, was attended by over 200 guests – representatives of the Ministry of Digital Affairs, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, academic and scientific computing centers, clients, employees, friends, and the owner of Beyond.pl – Kulczyk Investments.

The event provided an opportunity for meetings and guest presentations. Sebastian Kulczyk, owner of KULCZYK INVESTMENTS and founder of Beyond.pl, reminded everyone of the main idea behind Beyond.pl’s launch in 2005: supporting the region’s economic development. Wojciech Stramski, CEO of Beyond.pl, emphasized the importance of building a sovereign AI Factory in collaboration with NVIDIA and explained why ensuring digital resilience is so crucial in today’s geopolitical situation. NVIDIA representative and Vice President of Solutions and Operations for the EMEA market, Carlo Ruiz, emphasized the importance of launching the AI ​​Factory in CEE and its potential for Poland and the region, particularly in the context of joining the technology race and defending technological sovereignty. Dr. Adam Grzywaczewski’s presentation focused on NVIDIA’s technological breakthroughs and their impact on AI development. One of the key points of the event was the announcement of the Gniazdo initiative. Sebastian Kondracki, President of Bielik AI and the Spichlerz Foundation, together with Wojciech Stramski, officially announced the creation of the Gniazdo initiative, which will enable Bielik, the Polish-language LLM, to be delivered in an enterprise model from Beyond.pl AI Factory.
