Methodology Information
The calculator provides estimated greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions associated with electricity consumption during the operation of IT infrastructure in a data center. It does not include emissions related to the manufacturing, transportation, maintenance, or end-of-life disposal of equipment, nor any other Scope 3 emissions. The calculations are performed using the market-based method described in the GHG Protocol Scope 2 Guidance. Electricity cost data and emission factors are sourced from publicly available sources and updated as new data becomes available. The results are estimates and are intended for scenario comparison purposes.

Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) i
