Health service sector has to introduce the Electronic Medical Documentation system (Elektroniczna Dokumentacja Medyczna, EDM) until the end of July 2017. In the meantime, the Ministry of Health preseted further plans. They want to allow electronic ID holders access to a computer system, which would allow issuing e-prescriptions and e-referrals. How are medical facilities going to handle implementation of these innovations and why should they consider cloud computing?
