It is, however, gradually changing and businesses decide to store their resources in a cloud. Entrepreneurs see its advantages, and cloud is becoming their first choice. The most important thing for new businesses is the possibility to expand IT infrastructure to guarantee scalability, which first of all helps them to adjust computing power to their current needs. According to IDC forecast, two thirds of the world’s biggest companies are going to undergo digital transformation by 2017. This change is also going to affect the Polish market. IT outsourcing, i.e. data storage or using a scalable cloud is becoming common – said Tomasz Sobol, Marketing Director at Beyond.pl. Large companies are increasingly turning to private cloud, because it guarantees high level of security and offers flexible financing. Cloud is a particularly good choice for startups, where they can test their new solutions without having to invest in new servers. The same applies to interactive agencies, who maintain their customers’ services. With private cloud gaining popularity, the way companies use hardware changes.
